The second meet here in Greece is a three session timed final meet. This first session I swam 50 free (28.24) for 8th spot, 50 breast (35.24) for 3rd spot, 100 back (1:07.17) for 3rd spot and 200 IM (2:25) for gold.
For first place they give massive trophies, which is kind of cool. But the competition is not as deep as the meet in Athens was. This afternoon I just have 100 breast, which will be nice after swimming 4 races in 2.5 hours.
The pool we are racing at is across town and we need to take taxis to it, which is kind of annoying, but it is nice to drive past the ruins of an old castle that used to be in Thessaloniki which centred around the White Tower that was used similarly to the Tower of London.
Time for lunch and then a nap before heading back to the pool.
